When sourcing table coverings for your next promotional event, print processes can play a significant role in production cost and delivery time, especially when a high quantity is needed. On the other hand, when producing a small order or a one-off for a trade show or special event, print technology has enabled quick production with unlimited design possibilities on a variety of table cover styles.
Fabrics
Fabrics: Fabric choices for table covers range from traditional polyesters in various thicknesses, outdoor poly nylon and stretch spandex. Some are wrinkle free, flame retardant, UV protected or liquid/stain proof. With over 15 styles of table cloths, a suitable combination of ingredients will certainly provide the best solution for your display environment.
Small Order Table Covers (1-99 pieces)
Dye-Sublimation Printing: The most cost-effective production method for small runs of table-covers with a continuous print up to 128” wide. Dye-sub processing creates a rich color print that is dyed into the cloth. This process accommodates a diverse selection of fabrics and prints full color imagery from edge to edge. Production timing of less than two weeks can always be improved on if your deadline is soon approaching.
Orders of 100 Pieces or More
Production becomes very economical and cost savings can be significant when utilizing these high-volume print processes.
Screen Printing: When a simple logo with solid colors is applicable, greige good fabrics can be custom dyed to closely match the desired background color. A screen print image up to 4 spot colors can then be applied to the surface. Designs are limited to designated areas on the front panel of the table cover. This is the most economical process to manufacture in volume yet it requires a bit more time up to 45 days.
Direct Printing: This process is much more economical than dye-sublimation and just a little bit more expensive than screen printing. It is limited to specific poly fabrics. With that said, any type of logo can be placed in the designated areas of the front panel, spot color or full color images are suitable. Additionally, production time is shorter at 15-20 days.
